THe US government reiterates the importance of freedom of expression as well as the freedom of internet through the Twitter censor policy. While many see it as a bad move, many also see it as a good move to help make freedom of expression fair for all users. Until the policy takes effect, the government cannot see how it works, and decide how to take action, if at all.

This site gives gun laws of each state and if there are any permits, training, or other requirements needed by these laws.  The authors of the site make it a point to share all the different laws in each state to inform those who may not know of them.  This helps to prevent any law breaking due to traveling with a gun.

Only one state, Oregon, has legalized assisted suicide. The Oregon statute, which went into effect in October 1997, provides that a doctor may prescribe, but not administer, a lethal dose of medication to a patient who has less than six months to live. Two doctors must agree that the patient is mentally competent and that the decision was voluntary. As of April 1999, 23 patients were given drugs under the statute, and 15 of them used the drugs to commit suicide. A report released by the Oregon state Health Division reviewing the first year of the law's implementation found that the law was working well and had not been subject to abuse.

Governor Brewer quickly signed this bill after Governor Napolitano resigned to take over as secretary of US Homeland Security. We have a right to bear arms, but there is still alot of controversy arising with this 2nd Amendment right. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, and mine is that if you are a responsible human being, and you are using the weapon as protection and leaving it in a safe place with the right precautions than you can have one, and you aren't abusing the right to have one. But if you are going to obtain a gun and bad decisions and leave it in places where it is easily accessable to those who shouldn't have it than you are irrisponsible and shouldn't be allowed to carry one. These lobbists are great speakers and have the time and support to be at all meetings and present. The small public is not heard over the large group professionals.

This is one of the largest growing controversies in the United States. We have a lot of stubborn and close-minded people in this great nation. We all just need to open our hearts a little and accept these people and try to realize where they are coming from. They just want to be able to be happy like anyone would; and be able to marry the one that they love. People say it goes against tradition, and what marriage is valued as...between a man & woman. There are so many traditions that have been changed or forgotten in this day and age, and I am sure that letting these people marry who they want and where they want, isn't going to lead to something horrible. I think that some of us just need to really be educated and try to feel for these people who just want the opportunity to solidify their love for one another with Marraige.
