This is a fun and educational website! There are some things it asks you to download from itunes, but there are many, many games and apps available for free. This site offers great math and language arts computer games for elementary students grades k-5.

The global system of networked computers, servers, and routers known as the Internet has transformed many aspects of modern society and social interaction.

Sometimes this connection creates rifts in face to face meeting. In some cases we are losing the ability to socially interact in analog life.

Where do I begin? The Library of Congress website has so many FREE resources for students and teachers. Very easy to search for what you are looking for. It is a government site so everything is up-to-date and accurate

Great site for all social studies teachers for incorporating technology into the classroom. Site includes lesson plans, rubrics, multimedia resources, and many other technology related information.

This was actually introduced to me recently by my daughter's preschool teacher. Sure I had seen the commercials- but I had no idea it is FREE for teachers! I shared it with my Kindergarten team and we are all in love. So many lessons can be used on the smartboard, and you can create individual learning paths for each child.

It can be downloaded and used completely free of charge for any purpose.

I used open office before and was so grateful for it! Very comparable to Microsoft.
