This website is a compiled a list of some of the tech tools, including some that are becoming increasingly popular and widely used, that should be part of any teacher's tech tool arsenal this year, whether for their own personal use or as educational aids in the classroom. These resources are categorized under four categories: Social Learning, Learning, Lesson Planning and Tools, and Useful Tools. The "Social Learning" section includes tools that use social media to help students learn and teachers connect. Tools listed under "Learning" includes educational resources to help teachers make lessons fun, interesting and more effective. "Lesson Planning and Tools" provides teachers with tech tools to pull together lessons and design amazing and memorable student projects. Last but not least, "Useful Tools" can help teachers stay connected, organized, and increase the ease of building multimedia lessons and learning tools.

Kids.gov is an amazing site! My 1st graders use this site when researching states for their state reports. So easy to use and a wealth of resources.

Provides a safe place for students to learn that is divided based on age group. It provides art, music, math, science lessons, and more. It also has an area for teachers to find lesson plans and for parents to learn how to help their children learn.
These lesson plans, based on the Florida Early Learning and Developmental Standards for Four-Year-Olds (2011), are designed to help develop the skills that four-year-olds should know and be able to do by the end of their prekindergarten year. There are targeted Standards for Four-Year-Olds included in each lesson plan.

Discovery Education has great videos in content specific areas and topics. This is a great tool for enhancing and inspiring learning in the classroom. Engaging and interactive learning at the click of a buttion. For free registration, you have to register through your school.

Awesome website! This site extremely vast in educational topics and links for assistance. The teacher tool kit link is priceless. You are able to generate worksheets, create word bingo activities (great for vocabulary retention) and there are lesson plans (i.e. sentence starters). My favorite link is the alternative assessment; here, you can find ideas and rubrics for alternative assessments in your classroom.
