This is part of the FlDOE website. The problem with the site is it vast. When you log in navigating is not impossible just more complex due to the amount of information on the site. I selected this link because it takes you directly to the FCAT links and resources offered by the DOE.

Intereactive lessons for all content areas and assessments. This website is aligned with the NGSSS. Great use for reinforcing skills and RTI.

This site has some great resources on differentiating instruction and using resources for reading success.

I used this site all the time for literacy centers for primary grades. Great choice!

This site gives an example of a discipline specific search engine for technology in education

The item specifications part of the FLDOE website has been critical to prepare my students for FCA's and FCAT. If you find the item specification you can read to find out which pieces of information are tested. I try not to exclude data, but to ensure I cover the material being tested thoroughly. One example are states of matter teach three states or four states? Plasma is a state of matter not tested until high school. I include it to provoke thought, but I do not make it the main focus of my sixth grade lessons.

Use your own technology

This is a great resource for teachers looking for fast assessments (exit slips, tally answers, etc). Free accounts are available and you can see real time results as students answer. It can be set to have one answer per computer/smart phone, or multiple answers per. Great to have parents leave anonymous comments to questions.

Instant audience feedback for use with mobile devices. Free for up to 40 users. Great way to use cell phones in the classroom for polling activities.

A lot of FL schools swear by this site - Study Island is a leading academic software provider of standards-based assessment, instruction, and test preparation e-learning programs.

A collection of rubrics for assessing cooperative learning, research process/ report, PowerPoint, oral presentation, web page, blog, wiki, and other social media projects.

Great way to create rubrics for your students!

iRubric is a comprehensive rubric development, assessment, and sharing tool. Designed from the ground up, iRubric supports a variety of applications in an easy-to-use package. Best of all, iRubric is free to individual faculty and students. iRubric School-Edition empowers schools with an easy-to-use system for monitoring student learning outcomes and aligning with standards.

This has been in Beta for a while but they have a pretty good free version available. This allows for online question response and instant feedback like a set of classroom clickers some of us use. It works well and is free so check it out.

Like a Polleverywhere.com but better! Allows for quizzes, exit slips and more.

Create interactive lessons for mobile devices or use free or paid content. Great way to push out a lesson to iPads or other tablets. I have been using this for over a year with great success. Excellent reporting and metrics features.

If you have tablets in your classroom this is a great way to create interactive lessons that students can view on their tablets. You can also purchase remade lessons.

Free math worksheets for all grade-levels. Great Website to reinforce math skills. PDF printable and answer key are available, which makes this website even better.

"Create a Rubric"

I love this site. I used this last year for classwork, homework and projects. One of the difficult parts of teaching is assuring that students are graded fairly on assignments. Grading projects is a snap with a good rubric. Not sure what to fill in to make a rubric, no problem. Rubristar has pre-made rubrics you can use. ;)

"Vocabulary Games"

This website offers free, interactive resources online featuring Latin & Greek root-based activities at grade levels. It was listed as an instructional resource on the Florida Department of Education website.

This site provides interactive and fun ways for students to practice and learn new vocabulary words via games, puzzles, and crosswords. It is suitable for students from high elementary grades through college!

Pete's Power Point contains hundreds of free Power Point presentations on all core subjects for both primary and secondary educators. All of the Power Points can be downloaded and used as is, or you can alter them to fit your lesson and teaching style.    

This website is definitely worth bookmarking! There are numerous premade PowerPoints for all content areas. It would be very helpful for anyone who has a projector or uses a TV for instruction. These PowerPoints could be used as an introduction or for reviewing content before an assessment.

Every time I introduce rubrics to a group of teachers the reaction is the same - instant appeal ("Yes, this is what I need!") followed closely by panic ("Good grief, how can I be expected to develop a rubric for everything?").

This is a great way to assess for different learning styles.
