Here are some great resources for EarthDay. These were made in one of my favorite software programs called Timeliner. Timeliner is GREAT for the research because it completely cites all sources and aids in clipping from the internet. From planning and prewriting to creating graphic organizers - it is a great tool you should look at for next year!
The following list of ICT tools was crowd sourced from individual educationalists and not companies when the question 'What Indispensible ICT tools do you use in education' was asked and is not meant to be exhaustive in any way.
There's a lot of misinformation out there about legal rights and responsibilities in the digital era.
This is especially disconcerting when it comes to information being shared with youth. Kids and teens are bombarded with messages from a myriad of sources that using new technology is high-risk behavior. Downloading music is compared to stealing a bicycle - even though many downloads are lawful. Making videos using short clips from other sources is treated as probably illegal - even though many such videos are also lawful.

Free Online Learning Platform for teachers and their classrooms. May be a good source for schools who have issues with filtering and internet blocking as it is a structured and private online community.
This is a tantalizing portfolio page of infographic generators. As a writing teacher I see many applications. As an information fluency advocate I see a way to understand data that excites the mind. Many of these programs use social media sources to build visual comparisons and patterns. What a find!
This is still in beta, but this site includes pictures, videos and other cool stuff from the Smithsonian Institution and other sources, all about the ocean and what is in it.
