Technology Integration Matrix | Arizona K12 Center - 22 views

  •
"The Technology Integration Matrix (TIM) illustrates how teachers can use technology to enhance learning for K-12 students. The TIM incorporates five interdependent characteristics of meaningful learning environments: active, collaborative, constructive, authentic, and goal directed (Jonassen, Howland, Moore, & Marra, 2003). The TIM associates five levels of technology integration (i.e., entry, adoption, adaptation, infusion, and transformation) with each of the five characteristics of meaningful learning environments. Together, the five levels of technology integration and the five characteristics of meaningful learning environments create a matrix of 25 cells. What is in each cell? Within each cell of the Matrix one will find two lessons plans with a short video of the lesson. Each lesson is designed to show the integration of technology in instruction and classrooms as well as the Arizona Educational Technology Standards. "

We live in an era of digitalization. Almost all areas are already computerized. I even wrote a term paper on this topic. I decided to turn for help to the online nursing papers https://www.nursingpaper.com/ service as it was difficult for me to put together some sections. Thanks to the additional resources involved, I was able to pass the informative material.

To Blog or Not To Blog in Science or Math Class - 0 views

  •
The primary purpose of blog is to facilitate interaction between a teacher and his or her students. This is possible because a blog is a dynamic tool which can be easily updated or transformed as necessary to meet the needs of a science or math class. The integration of blog technology in a class requires an investment of time. Because of this commitment, additional evidence is needed to support the integration this technology in a science or math class curriculum.

Project Based Learning Viewed Through a Digital Lens - 0 views

Often we search for meaningful ways to integrate digital technology in project based learning activities given to our students. We also would like our students to develop a thorough understanding of the concepts underlying the work - after all this is the purpose of the project. Giving students the opportunity to complete and present their project through a digital lens has one great advantage - student engagement. This in turn causes students to develop a more in depth understanding of concepts.

"Our efforts should not be to integrate technology into the classroom, but to define and facilitate a new platform on which the classroom operates."
  • Our efforts should not be to integrate technology into the classroom, but to define and facilitate a new platform on which the classroom operates.  When the platform is confined by classroom walls, and learning experiences spring from static textbooks and labored-over white boards, and the learning is highly prescribed, then pedagogy is required.
  • Do we want students who are becoming integrated participants in an increasingly networked, rapidly changing, and intensely exciting world, or do we just want USDA-certified commodities to serve the machine?

How to Integrate Wolfram Alpha into Science and Math Classes - 0 views

  •
What is Wolfram Alpha? It is a supercomputing brain. It provides calculates and provides comprehensive answers to most any science or math question. Unlike other search sources, you and your students can ask questions in plain language or various forms of abbreviated notation. Contrary to popular belief, Wolfram Alpha is not a search engine. Unlike popular search engines, which simply retrieve documents based on keyword searches, Wolfram computes answers based on known models of human knowledge. It provides answers which are complete with data and algorithms, representing real-world knowledge.
