Camera angles First some basics. The following two handouts provide a great visual orientation to the world of camera angles: Wally Wood's 22 Panels That Always Work. This provides an orientation to camera angles in comic book genre. It appears here with Joel Johnson's permission. Camera shots, angles and Movement. This handout shoots the same doll from all the major camera angles. I don't know the origin of this one. Let me know if you do. The next section explains how the angles in these handouts can be used to persuade and convey meaning.

Preparing and developing e-learning materials is a costly and time consuming enterprise. This paper highlights the elements of effective design that we consider assist in the development of high quality materials in a cost efficient way. We introduce six elements of design and discuss each in some detail. These elements focus on paying attention to the provision of a rich learning activity, situating this activity within an interesting story line, providing meaningful opportunities for student reflection and third party criticism, considering appropriate technologies for delivery, ensuring that the design is suitable for the context in which it will be used, and bearing in mind the personal, social, and environmental impact of the designed activities. Along the way, we describe how these design elements can be effectively utilized by contextualizing them with examples from an e-learning initiative.

Banking on Numeracy. This video helps children understand the concept of money and its value. It explains that the size of the coins doesn't relate to their value. This is a video set at the Royal Adelaide Show 2011 with a focus on numeracy and how it can be linked to the community. In this video a teacher models how to solve a range of problems related to buying showbags. This video is a fantastic teaching resource as it enables the teacher to pause the video at specified points to allow the students time to complete the answer to the question posed.

This is an educational video on 'how to make chocolate brownies'. This video focuses on the numeracy aspects of time and measurement, with other aspects of area and perimeter. In a more advanced lesson, volume can also be taught as well as weight and size. This is a video aiming for Primary School students but can be adapted and modified for older students.
