* PowToon is a new presentation tool to create animated presentations and cartoon style videos. It can be used to captivate the interest of students of all ages, increase engagement and provide an excellent alternative to PowerPoint and Prezi that I will use in my workshop presentation.
* I found Powtoon to be better than other presentation websites due to the ease of use of this web resource that is new to most students and teachers. Powtoon also encourages excitement and motivation of students learning with the creation of animations, and it is free!

* Mastery Connect allows teachers to assess any content and curriculum, monitor student achievement, and report student mastery to parents and administrators. It provides curriculum maps, multi-standard benchmark assessments, integrated standards-based resources and allows for remediation and re-teaching. * I found Mastery Connect to be better than other authentic assessment activity resources due to the ability to view current mastery status of all students aligned with state and Common Core Standards, and to have built in resources to assist struggling students.
