This website offers a 30 day trial of its multimedia software which allows students to demonstrate cognitive activity by creating their own videos and integrating audio, text, and graphics. It allows for learner-centered learning because students are actively engaging in implementing their new knowledge into the videos.

this site provides what purpose the activity is serving (as in its authenticity) and how we should evaluate it with various rubric examples. I like how it points out rules for effectiveness in communicating (by design, orally and in writing) and using a purposeful or appropriate technology for an authentic activity which is a powerful combination that drives a presentation.

Microsoft's Office 365 is offered free for schools and allows teachers and students to collaborate in innovative ways.  The program comes bundled with email, instant messaging, video conferencing, calendar and document sharing along with virtual storage. Learners can use Microsoft's Office 365 to collaborate asynchronously on group projects using SharePoint to promote knowledge construction and find meaning as they solve problems. Since Microsoft's Office 365 promotes active learning, I will use this program as one of the three artifacts for my multimedia workshop on flipped classroom instruction.

Due to its intuitive nature, educators and learners can use prezi to organize information to promote knowledge construction for finding meaning to complex problems. Knowing that prezi presentations promote active learning, I will use this program as one of the three artifacts for my multimedia workshop on flipped classroom instruction. 

PBS Kids is an interactive website designed for ages three through six. The website consists of games and videos with multiple activities for different content areas. A variety of literacy activities include alphabet recognition, sight words, vocabulary, and much more!

Readquarium is an interactive website for multiple content areas, designed for elementary grade levels. The literacy activities provide a tutorial for users to read, examples to practice, and feedback to explain the correct answer. Animation, narration, and highlighted text are some of the features that are included for activities and stories.
