Here are some of our favorite unsung Google features, from Google Drive apps to Google+ to everything in between.

Google Apps vs. Office 365: Why Google Will Win the Enterprise | BetterCloud Blog - 1 views

  •
"Since our founding, it's been a core mission of BetterCloud's to spread the word about Google Apps and evangelize for the platform. And after raising a Series A this past January, we've stepped up our hiring process, which has led candidates to ask why I'm betting my career and company on Google Apps. This was a question we encountered throughout the fundraising process and I'm sure it's frequently asked of other ISVs and Google Apps resellers. While I'm obviously biased towards Google Apps, I do wholeheartedly believe the platform will win."

Buy Google Reviews Introduction Customers who use Google to look for local businesses are probably going to see a list of establishments with star ratings. "Have you read The Paperless Classroom with Google Docs by Eric Curts? If not, you should. It is a great way for Google schools to harness the power of Google for sharing documents, and establishing a workflow for students to turn in work for teachers to grade and return in a paperless environment. I love it. In fact, I liked it so much that I decided to pay homage to it with a version that is dedicated to doing the very same thing on the iPad using just the Google Drive app."

Reeder - 3 views

  •
Reeder is a Google Reader client, which means you need a Google Reader account to use the app. Don't have one? No problem, you can get one here: http://google.com/reader When using Reeder, all changes will be synced with Google Reader. This means if (for example) you read an article in Reeder it will also be marked as read in Google Reader. The same is true if you read in Google Reader. When syncing the next time, Reeder will just pick up the changes.

Official Google Blog: App Inventor for Android - 2 views

  •
This looks very interesting. The potential is huge for students to develop apps for the Android platform. How can apple beat this one if they have locked down their apps store? The great thing about App inventor is that it looks like it has been modelled on Scratch 'Blocks' of building scripts. My Grade 5 and 6's (some whiz kids lower) would love to get their hands on this. The potential for them to develop their own apps for perhaps an Android tablet or smart phone is enormous. Rich and authentic possibilities for learning. Have DEECD made a wrong choice in going with the ipad?
