www.lib.unc.edu - I like the buttons, especially the e-research button and the way the search is broken down into categories. When people search for stuff they often only have a hunch about what they are looking for. The categories help people confirm their hunch.

This site is kind of fun. I put it on my favorite list, but I think the text is way too small. Also, Flash presentations are going out soon because they aren't well supported any more. HTML5 is the ticket these days. In any case, the site is educational and interesting. I had to try several of the drills.

This site is very well organized, and has lots of examples in many subjects. Uh-ho - you gotta sign up. It's worth it though. The lessons are obviously done by experts.

This site has great interactivity and good response mechanisms. I could see kids using this to practice their pronunciation and reading skills. The language allows clicking on individual words, where they then sound out loud. Check out the Earth Day section - you can drag recyclables to the bins and hear the words. Great! Lots of color, sound, kids voices, and animation make this site fun

Lots of fun animation. I stayed very entertained on this Web site. I love that the Dr. Seuse characters are tied in. What great books! The sounds make it fun too... though... I do wonder how a student who's deaf or blind might interact with this site.

This website has lots of drill and practice work. The exercises are colorful and animated. This keeps the attention of students. There is a lot of variety in types of tasks, including science, math, and language. The difficulty of each exercise grows with the number of correct answers. Immediate feedback is provided on everything.
