At least three needs became apparent throughout the day: Educators and parents need succinct, research-based messages about what works best. Teachers and leaders need professional development on how to skillfully integrate technology into their teaching. And the app marketplace needs markers of quality informed by the science of child development.

It would have limited use. Other avenues accomplish much the same thing.

This site seems like it would be useful for families to stay in touch if there is a serious illness. The idea seems solid. It's a good way to keep a family in contact when they may not be able to be in the hospital or visit the child all day everyday.

I have kept up with a friend who was in a serious car accident through CaringBridge. Her dad posted updates daily, so it was a great way to stay informed. The guest book was also good to send your thoughts and prayers to the family.

I actually downloaded this software recently. It was extremely easy to use and fun to play with. I created a couple of slideshows involving my siblings, and shared with my family via the email and they enjoyed it. I like how easy it is to share and how creative you can get with it. I feel that children could use this with some assistance, but they will be thrilled with the end result. Thanks for bringing this to our attention!

This would be a great resource to use when counseling children. In conjunction with Art Therapy, the child could create characters to express themselves and situations. These could be saved, shared, and used to analyze the child's progress.

children can create a character and add voice as a means of expressing themselves.

Babies and young children can learn about the world around them through all sorts of real-world objects and safe replicas, from dolls to cardboard boxes to mixing bowls, and even toy cellphones and computers. Babies can learn a great deal just by exploring the ways bowls fit together or by imitating a parent talking on the phone. (Imagine how much money we can save on “enriching” toys and DVDs!)

This site is great for young children who are learning to use the computer. On this site there is online coloring, print-and-play activities, and storybook creations. This site is easy to navigate, it's child-friendly, and it's free. Everything on this site is about Dr. Seuss and there are things for parents as well. I really like this site!

This site is child-friendly and would be great for making your own website. It is easy to use, and it gives you many ways to create a unique, colorful, and educational website. There are many examples of websites that can be viewed as well.

This looks like a wonderful website! The design layout was very clear to understand, and there are so many options (personal, business, etc.) I liked that there were websites to view, because I am not a very creative person, and I need a little help occasionally! :)
