I am working on a textbook regarding technology applications in preschool settings. I would like to share some 'aha' moments from family members and teachers, i.e., a moment or two when the potential of technology--either for a typical child or one with a disability--came into focus?

Below are specific questions and if any of you care to respond to one or several, that would be great--I''ll cite the post from this site!

What was the most memorable 'aha' moment you recall when you first began using technology with your children? How did the children respond? What were your concerns?

If you have used technology to support emergent literacy skill development (e.g., phonemic awareness, word recognition, rhyming, etc.) what was your most memorable moment regarding the way the children responded to a particular tool/activity? What was it about the experience that you think they liked? Was there anything they disliked?

If you have used technology to support writing, what was your most memorable moment regarding the way the children responded? What was it about the experience that you think they liked? Was there anything they disliked?

If you have used technology to support the development of appropriate behavior, what was your most memorable moment regarding the way the children responded? What was it about the experience that you think they liked? Was there anything they disliked?

If you have used technology to support the development of play, what was your most memorable moment regarding the way the children responded? What was it about the experience that you think they liked? Was there anything they disliked?
