And at this early stage of exploring and discovering the world we inhabit, there is no filter between our sense of curiosity and our expression of our it. If we are curious, we will be asking questions and heaven help anyone close enough to be a potential source of answers. - At school, our relationship to both curiosity and inquiry changes.

    Helpful tips for making classroom viewing of Youtube videos without the clutter. I've used Viewpure, Safeshare, and Quietube. I tried the Quietube button on the bookmarks toolbar and it worked well. I also use the Google Extension - Magic Action for Youtube, which allows me to adjust the volume with my scroll wheel while the video is playing.

Although sometimes more difficult to enforce in a consistent manner, a set of a few guidelines* rather than lengthy set of specific rules is more beneficial to students in the long run. By applying guidelines rather than following rules, students engage in higher level thinking processes and learn behaviors that will continue into their next classroom, their homes, and their adult lives.

    Google Apps provides filtered email to individual students in grades 2 and higher (and to classrooms of kindergarten and 1st grade students). Collaboration and other tools that are available that can be used across all subject areas.
