I would have loved if my husband could have had paternity leave from work when I had my children. It also depends on the circumstances in the family household. Can they afford for both to be on leave?

Men being victim to domestic violence against another woman, or possibly another man, has been laughed at by society for quite some time. The ability for men to come out and share their abuse stories or get away from an abusive relationship needs to be encouraged more. I definitely agree with this article. Even if some people like to think this isn't a problem it definitely is. For men and women in the same field regardless of what that field is men often get the higher income than women do. My mother is a major example of this and often talks about how the men in the same department as her make more money even when they produce less work that generally isn't that good. On top of that my mother works the same amount of hours and even more than average in a given week yet still doesn't come close to the pay gap. Of course, there may be inconsistency in statistics but it is definitely still an issue to be aware of because it still exists.

I have thought this for a long time now. As women become more a part of the work force, more men are taking on the roles as the primary caregiver for children. because of this, I believe that the old stereotype that men are gone all the time and have no idea on how to be a caregiver is completely false.
