    Men being victim to domestic violence against another woman, or possibly another man, has been laughed at by society for quite some time. The ability for men to come out and share their abuse stories or get away from an abusive relationship needs to be encouraged more. They don't need to always be tough and "man up", that is a very old fashioned way of thinking, and needs to be reviewed.

A study by Professor John Archer of the University of Central Lancashire said that men and women are equally likely to commit domestic violence, however severe injuries more commonly affect woman.
