Webcourses-News - This announcement-only listserv notifies all Webcourses@UCF users when there is an event effecting online courses, such as maintenance times. Webcourses - This opt-in general discussion listerv is for users to communicate with each other about what they are doing in their online courses. List activity varies and members can unenroll themselves at any time. To subscribe to either of these listserves, please email itg@mail.ucf.edu with the name(s) of the list(s) you would like to join.

Webcourses@UCF Learning Online Orientation

Welcome to Behind the Blackboard! This is where Blackboard system administrators can find support, download software, obtain reference materials, and manage their Blackboard account. For students, faculty, and instructional designers Behind the Blackboard is the perfect supplement to your primary campus helpdesk!

Digital Content or e-Packs consist of publisher-created digital content that is ready to use in your Webcourses@UCF account. An e-Pack may include learning materials, multimedia elements, and assessments. The quality and the features of e-Packs varies tremendously. Please e-mail your instructional designer if you find an e-Pack you would like to view. We can upload the e-Pack to a Webcourses@UCF practice account for your review. There is no cost for a faculty member to view an e-Pack. If you decide to use one, your students may be charged an access fee. The fee charged to students varies and is generally part of a bundled textbook product. Search the ePacks area for possible ePacks in your discipline.

The Online@UCF Support provides immediate and personal support for faculty and staff who offer online Webcourses@UCF. Supporting a wide range of online faculty needs, Online@UCF Support offers phone, e-mail, and scheduled face-to-face support sessions, as well as group workshops throughout the academic year.

WebCT Campus Edition 6 incorporates a Who's Online feature that allows course participants to see who else is logged into the course at a given time and start a conversation with them.

Supporting a wide range of online faculty needs, ITG offers phone, e-mail, and scheduled face-to-face support sessions, as well as group workshops throughout the academic year.
