Much of its power comes from the fact that it presents information in a variety of formats while it also organizes that information through hypertext links. Because of the multimedia nature of the web combined with the poor design of some websites, many Internet surfers cannot access the full range of resources this revolutionary tool provides. Some visitors: * Cannot see graphics because of visual impairments. * Cannot hear audio because of hearing impairments. * Use slow Internet connections and modems or equipment that cannot easily download large files. * Have difficulty navigating sites that are poorly organized with unclear directions because they have learning disabilities, speak English as a second language, or are younger than the average user.

Media Access Generator (MAGpie) Version 2.0.2 (OS X) and 2.0.5 (Windows) are now available Developers of Web- and CD-ROM-based multimedia need an authoring tool for making their materials accessible to persons with disabilities. The Carl and Ruth Shapiro Family National Center for Accessible Media (NCAM) has developed two such tools, version 1.0 and 2.0.2 of the Media Access Generator (MAGpie), for creating captions and audio descriptions for rich media.

Welcome to WAVE WAVE is a free web accessibility evaluation tool provided by WebAIM. It is used to aid humans in the web accessibility evaluation process. Rather than providing a complex technical report, WAVE shows the original web page with embedded icons and indicators that reveal the accessibility of that page.

An OpenCourseWare(OCW) is a free and open digital publication of high quality university‐level educational materials.  These materials are organized as courses, and often include course planning materials and evaluation tools as well as thematic content. OCW Consortium members from all over the world are publishing OCW in a variety of formats, subjects, and languages.  Here are some ways to find OCW.

You can also directly share your PowerPoint's on these servers, using aP Lite's PowerPoint plug-in, for which the conversion to flash outputs is done on these servers.
