This is a downloadable programme that teaches programming through a virtual robotic rover. Design games and challenges with your robot moving and finding objects. The commands are similar to MS Logo, but the interface and graphics are vastly more child-friendly. It is free for personal use. This is a superb resource for making 3D storyboards and animations. The programme is a little complicated and is designed to be used by older children. It feels similar to Google SketchUp and it will have your class enthralled for hours with creative writing and animating fun. That's enough storage where 'tidy' filing schools might begin to migrate their school network storage to the cloud for free - and that's exciting. Similar to Socrative but more in a game format. Can print off results with student name, questions, and answers.

Short & energetic presentation styles such as Pecha Kucha and Ignite are becoming more popular in conferences & classrooms. A similar style of concise instruction has become common through websites such as Instructables and 5Min.com. Microlectures seems to satisfy the need for discrete units of knowledge coupled with decreasing attention spans.
