Power Searching With Google could be a great course for teachers who want to become better users of Google search in order to teach their students better search strategies. And, of course, students can take the course on their own to learn better search strategies.

There is a free iPad app that allows you to scan a book's barcode to add it to your 'to read' list & show review's. May require a private group for students though.
