Be sure to follow the 3 links in the 4th paragraph. These are interesting displays of information. I haven't looked carefully at all of the graphs or their accuracies/biases, but many of these do draw you in to what they're trying to communicate--the point of data charts after all. What a refreshing break from staid bar charts.

The data sets are fantastic for teaching about the analysis of real-world data sets. Also good for explaining the pitfalls of data visualization. I've used this with students as young as 8th grade and also incorporated the works of Edward Tufte with it (http://www.edwardtufte.com/tufte/).

Interesting use of a data set.

Interesting article. Does they have it right? I question whether the data is really accurate because we are relying on the College Board to get objective data.
