This is a great infographic that lays out the origins of the flipped classroom model in a very accessible way. It touches on just about every aspect of the topic from how it was started to some stats on how it has been effective in a specific setting. I don't know if it's too long to include in our prezi, but it probably should at least get a link

A fantastic free Google product that gives you direct access to real world statistics. It plots graphs of the data for you and even animates the graphs to show how they change through time.

Instructional site with many helpful resources on how to go about the nuts-and bolts of making and posting videos for use in a flipped classroom. Useful for anyone considering this model.

This is an interesting article about innovative and future technology which will provide teachers with interactive study guides and pop quizzes while on field trips. The potential is for reduced behavior problems. A potential problem is the cost of 3G iPads which are necessary for technology. A solution may exist with the collaboration of Square Crumbs and JoliCloud. This is a good example of collaboration between companies which will benefit education. Donorschoose.org: This would be a great resource for teachers with limited funding to be able to get iPads and other mobile devices for their classroom. This video features a elementary math teacher who uses math apps on the iPad to collaborate with parents in regards to new math textbook adoption. Great idea for collaborating and connecting with parents. This video also shows a child who is autistic benefiting from the iPad. I do not recommend this video for sharing because it starts out with a Pantene commercial and then continues to be blurry. However, the idea of using the iPad and apps to connect and communicate with parents a new math curriculum is an innovative use of this technology. This is a very interesting website that connects donors with teachers and students in need of equipment. Teachers post a project asking for donations, donors choose which projects to fund, and then students send feedback about what they accomplished with the devices.
