I like this website, it's simple and it provides great ideas on helping students with reading!

I have been waiting to find more information on Scaffolding since I first heard this term at the ACTFL conference in 2018. My biggest criticism is that most of the German textbooks do NOT provide reading text with scaffolding. I rewrote many articles myself. I love the SSS.

First I did not want to read this, because I feel unable to CREATE technology enhanced materials, but when I glanced at threarticle, it became easy to understand and do, most valuable and very possibly manageable with my limited understanding of technology. Wonderful!

I like the features of padlet and have personally used the platform in several webinars, but have yet to use the tool myself! I think that will definitely try this platform in the upcoming school year.

His videos are so helpful! Thanks for sharing. Does anyone know if Flipgrid integrates with Sakai? A big concern for me is to keep things simple and streamlined for students. Sending them information through different channels seems to just ask for things to get overlooked or lost. Thanks!

It sound like this guy is in the right place at the right time! I love reading but honestly video tutorials can be sooo helpful and nice to watch when they are well produced! I've seen in his channel another tool I love and I haven't used for a while: Adobe Spark.

These are great. I learned about using streamyard.com to live stream any school event to a venue, such as YouTube. This could be useful even after Covid to allow parents to be a part of events that happen at school.

This site has royalty free pictures and videos that can be used in class without worrying about copyright issues.

Good review of some advantages that come with tech use in teaching

Some colleagues, Eliot Borenstein (Professor of Russian @ NYU) and Shannon Spasova (Assistant Professor of Russian @ Michigan State), started this FB group in the spring and it has been an invaluable forum for me to connect with instructors around the country throughout the spring emergency remote instruction and into planning for fall. It also provides some comic relief.

In a fast changing world impacted by technological advances, language usage becomes "one of the factors being altered most drastically." And as language teachers, most of us feel language teaching has become inevitably bound to technology more and quickly. All this is talked about in "The Edtech Podcast" posted here.
