Recordings of 60 one-hour sessions from the 2/10 to 2/21 Transforming the Teaching & Learning Environment: the PASSHE Virtual Conference. Many recorded sessions (click 2014 Sessions-by-Date) focus on teaching/designing online/hybrid courses. The virtual conference uses Blackboard Collaborate so you may need to allow the download and running of a .jnlp file.

Good resource listing steps involved in designing a hybrid course.

This has a nice list of FTF and Online appropriate learning activities. The terms hybrid and blended are used interchangeably to describe a course in which less than half all of the instruction is delivered online. Traditional face-to-face instruction is reduced but not eliminated. With a hybrid course, the goal is to optimize student engagement by taking advantage of the strengths of both the face-to-face and Web-based environments.

This document provides 10 cases with examples of how teachers have implemented blended learning in classes with more that 100 students. But If you do not want to read all of it, it has like a summary of cases grouped according to what calls your attention. E.g "Flipping the traditional lecture (or equivalent resource) into the on-line space to allow for greater gains in the face-to-face aspect" and then it shows you which cases applied that.

Krathwohl concisely compares Bloom to the revised Bloom. It is no longer sufficient to state "use Bloom" because the differences are distinctive. Which Bloom to use? This article helps in discerning the answer.

This is one of the best resources for educators involved in designing authentic real world assessment tasks. Jan Herrington is a pioneer of research on "authentic tasks" and online learning and this is a great repository of articles research and resources.

This is a good site to write either a diary or keep a journal

I highly recommend this book if you are looking for prompts or creative ways to use journals in the classroom as well as in your profession. Since I hadn't taken time to actually figure out how Diigo works and how it might be useful, I figured now was the time. I found this site that that helps get you started. I found the two videos posted in the Resources at the bottom of the page quite useful.

A good simple approach. A three staged process for blended learning design: Absorb - Do - Connect

"The process model consists of three stages: Absorb-During this stage, students are gaining basic knowledge. This can include reading a chapter in the textbook. Do-Students then engage in an activity such as a discussion before the face-to-face session (in the case of a blended course) or a synchronous online session in the case of a totally online course. Connect-Students apply knowledge to real-world situations."

I've helped faculty implement this model in online courses and think it has been very successful. While a model like ADDIE provides a structured approach to designing an entire course, this Absorb, Do, Connect model, along with models like Gagne's 9 events of instruction provide us with models for how to structure individual lessons and keep them consistent.
