"Video Marketing- 42 Ways to Use Video Posted on February 27th, 2010. Stop wasting time trading links with other websites, posting the same how-to article to a gazillion article directory sites, and doing sneaky little things at your own website to try to trick the search engines. Spend your time instead creating video, one of the most powerful ways to pull traffic to your website or blog. It will boost your position in the search engine rankings and, in some cases, take tons of business away from your competitors. Do it right, and they'll be so shell-shocked they'll pack up and go home."

mmm, could this not be applied also to website communications? - why focus on text? - it's like appealing to one type of learner. Sometimes, even with the clever use of words, there is enough room for interpretation. Video gives a more accurate range of tonality and emotion!

that's why I keep on insisting on tapping into the under-used video to be part of your comms ;-D pester power ;-)

  • Call it viral, buzz or word-of-mouth advertising: Getting customers to spread the word about a new product through their social or professional networks is a hot strategy in the marketing world. Its proponents insist that the technique -- whether online or face-to-face -- is sure to boost a company's return on investment (ROI).

  • Who's the Leader? The study indicates that the spread of a product by word-of-mouth -- what the authors call "contagion" -- can and does happen over social networks. The study also indicates that marketers may need to re-think whom they identify as the best seeding points in their word-of-mouth campaigns.
  • Reputation Matters Physician 184 didn't stand out as a "self-reported opinion leader," but he did stand out in the second group. He was known widely in the local community because he was very involved with treating patients suffering from the disease, and worked tirelessly and closely with colleagues to solve problems and get things done

  • $1,000 grants have proven they can change the lives of low-income individuals of potential in the Twin Cities. With 60 million living below the poverty line in the United States, and 400,000 low-income in the Twin Cities alone, the MicroLoan/Grant concept can help individuals and families of potential move out of poverty to a middle and upper-middle class standard. A significant percent of those 400,000 low-income in the Twin Cities are energetic people of potential. With a boost up of $1,000 or more with some mentoring from our volunteers, they would be able to change their lives dramatically.
