I post this article because I've found it interesting. It talks about the importance of effective classroom management. It mixes a lot of things when it talks about the topic, not only about students and their bechavoir but you can find a curious relation between teacher behaviour and the topic aswell. Moreover the article talks about reserch and recommendations for improving teacher preparation in classroom management.what can be useful for us to know. Hello again group, we have learn a lot about Gardner,s theory of multiple intelligences. Maybe as i think, this are one of the most interesting points we have seen in my opinion we must take in account every day that our pupils are completely different. This page can help us for a better understanding of each of the multiple intelligences. I consider that reading this document can help us in order to know what kind of intelligences prevail in some of the activities that we do in class (very useful for the portfolio). I believe that the intelligence is more prevalent in my is the naturalistic, because since childhood I've loved animals and nature. Hello classmates, I am attaching an interesting page here that I found on the internet. it is a slideshow that have a look at the curriculum, are very simple slide (32) where we talk about the basics aspects such as rules, features, objectives, competences, evaluation ... etc. Also, does mention Common European Framework and the European Language portfolio. I think it's interesting because I personally overview serves and has taught me very helpful suggestions. You can see right over another space with related proposals. Hello! I found an amazing website about an interesting method of second language teaching. The website has a lot of information explained very clearly with videos, graphics, and schemes. Hello to everyone! This is a short article that talks about peer assessment, an evaluation technique very interesting. This document emphasizes that peer and self assessment are key strategies to involve students in taking more responsibility for their own learning. While the benefits may not initially be obvious to students, this process offers a means of enhancing the learning experience and developing key capabilities in our students. The document also refers to the advantages and disadvantages of this type of assessment. Perhaps the biggest drawback is that it requires greater involvement by the teacher. Throughout the article, I'll take this vital phrase from my point of view: "Peer and self-assessment help students develop the ability to make judgements, a necessary skill for study and professional life" (Brown, Rust and Gibbs, 1994). Self and peer-assessment are often combined or considered together. They have many potential advantages in common. For instance, peer assessment can help self-assessment. By judging the work of others, students gain insight into their own performance.

Hi classmates! This is my second contribution in diigo. Last week we had an exhibition of storytelling. One of the stories that the professional told us was "the very hungry caterpillar", written by Eric Carle. I strongly believe that tell our students this story could be very useful, especially because it contains lots of interesting vocabulary. Here, in this page, you can find plenty of activities that will reinforce the vocabulary learnt by the students. As we have seen this weeks in the university, English classroom is dominated by the textbook. It decides what we have to do in the classroom. Nevertheless, we can use a lot of resources in order to produce intrinsic motivation in our pupils. I consider that storytelling can be a good learning tool because it promotes among other things, creativity and imagination. Furthermore, if we use stories in class, we will encourage the development of language among students. I want to share this article as a last point of view of self-assessment. For all my classmates who still have doubts. There are some examples of rubrics for techers, to value their own work in a course, in a lesson... These rubrics do reference to different aspects/domains like Planning, the Environment, the Teaching/Learning process and Professional development. We can found in each rubric the aspects that a teacher must to carry out to get a distinguished process.

I have searched about this topic, because was one of the most attractive contents that we learnt the last year. In this article we can see all about TPR, why we must to apply it in young children, what is TPR, its main characteristics, advantages and there are even examples to develop this method in class, linked to storytelling. With this method, children can learn by a motivate and dynamic way, as you already know. Only with a friendly environment, some coloured cards and the leading of the teacher, the pupils can enjoy much.

I found an interesting article on lesson planning. This article gives us some guidelines and interesting things to think about when planning a lesson such as the grammar knowledge and its effect on fluency. They pay a lot of attention to the importance of fluency activities, something that hasn´t come forward in our classes and that is not taken into account very often in the classroom. And fluency is exactly the reason why we are teaching/learning foreign languages. Fluency is what students need to be able to communicate with native speakers or speakers from other countries.

I think this is an interesting article on approaches and methods because it gives us a clear and understandable view about these concepts. We learned about different approaches last year and this article gives us a small review and some different angles to see the need and use of knowing these concepts. The article also explains other concepts like syllabus, teacher´s role, materials… After reading this article I came to the conclusion that we shouldn´t focus on one approach but maybe take some parts of different approaches and methods. The key to being a good teacher is keep looking for the method that works best for you and your students with the help of what has been used and what we are being taught.
