First I should point out I have never used a sidebar before, despite all the applications I use.

However, with the Diigo sidebar I have found, for the first time, a sidebar that is useful and works brilliantly and almost seemlessly. In short, I love it.

I have notices that there seems to be a delay between bookmarking a page and its appearance in the sidebar. A bookmark may be available on the diigo web, but not appear in the sidebar for a while.

Indeed, it does not appear that there is anyway to refresh the sidebar except to close and reopen: and even that may not still update the bookmarks that appear in the sidebar.

As far as I can see, the only time the sidebar refreshes is when the browser is closed and restarted.

In short, it would be useful if there was some kind of automatic refresh in the sidebar, or, at the very least, a refresh button, in order to keep the sidebar up to date.

As ever, thanks for a fantastic service.

Thanks for your feedback. Normally, adding/removing a bookmark using the toolbar will automatically update the sidebar.
There is a quick tip for you when you want to refresh manually. Leave the tags input empty and click the "Filter" button.

Somebody might want to put that in the help documentation somewhere.

    Thanks! *blush*
Believe me, I'm getting everybody I can into this--Diigo rocks. We will take over the internet, one delicious user at a time!

Question-why are both instances of "There is a quick tip for you when you want to refresh manually. Leave the tags input empty and click the "Filter" button." highlighted when I only highlighted the first? Only one annotation shows up on the sidebar and such, but both instances are show a highlight and give me the highlight pop-up menu on mouseover.
