    Hello!

Ok, here again, as my Firefox crashed some minutes ago and my whole post was gone! *hmpf*
As the new v.1.0.2007061301 toolbar version came out, I tried to update my v.1.0.x version, but instead of this, it downgraded it to v.0.5.2.x !! I have experienced this with several extensions, why does this happen?
It also won't upgrade since several days, instead my Firefox crashes more often, although I haven't installed any other extensions or else!

An additional great annoyance is the fact, that EVERY update of the Diigo Firefox Toolbar RESETS the position of the several single toolbar buttons, which I have spread over my Firefox navigation, most of them in the top toolbar (the one which includes the "File / Edit / ... / Bookmarks / Extras / ... drop-down menus).
    Can't you deactivate this behaviour?

    Thanks for help in advance!

    Kind regards,

PS: My configuration (if you need to know more, please tell me):

    Hi Philipp
    The problem sounds strange.
We can't reproduce the problem, because it depends on your FF environment. Could you send your FF profile to us by following instructions here:

How to send your FF profile to help us debugging

Please also change your password to a temp one and give it to us. So we can use your account and your FF environment to reproduce the problem.

During this time, you can try the diigolet ( Diigolet ) to do bookmark and annotation.

    Thanks

    Hi Joel,

I also have the same "problem" with a completely different configuration (still on FX 1.5.0.12).

Tools.Extensions.Diigo Toolbar for Firefox ver 0.5.2007061301 UPDATE AVAILABLE
I update but still shows 0.5.2007061301 and update available BUT
    Help.About shows 1.0.2007061301

I see that Phillipp and I both use MR Tech Local Install 5.3.2.3

I also have the annoyance of the toolbar button placement reset on every update.

    Thanks

========> Your FF crashed very often with diigo toolbar alone? What's the version number, v.1.0.2007061301 or previous one?

===> We found out there is a small problem related to the version number, but it won't affect any function. We will fix it in the next release.

    > Can't you deactivate this behaviour?
We will look into this. If it won't lead to other problem by deactivating that behavior, we will do it. Thanks.

No, as it didn't update to this version. ;-) I think it was just something else this time. ;-)

    > === > We found out there is a small problem related to the version number, but it won't affect any function. We will fix it in the next release.

Ok. Fine. :-) So this problem will not reoccur? How long will we have to wait to the next release (as we won't be able to update, will we?)?

I was short before sending you my profile! So this isn't necessary anymore? (As I also would prefer not to send it, as I can't think how I should clean ALL my personal data, as some extensions use my passwords and I also don't know, what my booksmarks etc. contain) Would there be another "environmental" solution, maybe if I exclude certain folders of my Firefox profile?

    Ok thanks for that.

    Hi Joel,

+1 for this problem. The downside of not fixing the "small problem related to the version number" is that since I have FF2 set to check for extension updates, FF offers to update the diigo extension every time FF restarts. Not critical, but certainly annoying.

    Cheers,
    Jon

i use FF2004 and update notifier, and for me also _every single time_ FF starts up i am notified that Diigo 0.5.2007061301 will be updated.

i also hope that when updates are really required and are completed that my current (customized) diigo toolbar is not automatically replaced. annoying!

We will update a new toolbar later today.

We updated a new FF toolbar just now. It fixed/Improved the following issue
    1. Version number bug
    2. An additional great annoyance is the fact, that EVERY update of the Diigo Firefox Toolbar RESETS the position of the several single toolbar buttons, which I have spread over my Firefox navigation, most of them in the top toolbar. ======== >Now new toolbar will not reset your customization if you use FF2.0

    Thanks for your patience
