i meant was there a way to easily transfer them to lists: http://www.diigo.com/list/intothevoid. Perhaps during the import, you could choose whehter you want tags, lists, or both? if thats not possible, anyway to easily just mirror your tags to lists? I apologize if this doesn't make sense.
If you sort your bookmarks according to tag, then you will see that all of them have a check box on the left hand side. You can check the box at the top, under "all", to select them all, then use the "my lists" drop down to add them to a particular list.
The caveat is that it will not automatically create a list for you, but you can choose to create a new list from the drop down, which only takes a couple of seconds.
For import from other environments (including but not limited to Delicious) to Diigo, there are various considerations. Whilst options during import might be a nice idea, I suspect that things could become unexpectedly complicated in some situations.
You could export from Delicious, then edit the export to suit your requirements, then import your edition. XHTML Teacher gives good advice above, but beware of creating for yourself more management than is necessary … if you can work well enough without lists (each one of which you should manage) then be happy with that.
Hint: if you're new to Diigo, it may take a little time to familiarise yourself with the feature set. Also, a new version of Diigo is being developed.

Hope that helps!

Consider for example point (g) at http://groups.diigo.com/Diigo_HQ/forum/topic/42800 - the user feedback there was based on experience with Furl.
