    1. add highlights to a page (not a home page)

    2. share the page, and annotations, with a group

    3. add some more highlights - for the benefit of the group.

How do I achieve step 3?

http://www.diigo.com/annotated/eeb89846bff0160f9eb8f5c1a6f52c54 shows (to the Macfusion group) only two of four highlights.

If this is a frequently asked question, sorry!

    Thanks - Graham

Think of this topic (focus: highlights) as a spin-off from http://www.diigo.com/annotated/b02b938116140d355cfab071787e8251 (which was focused on sticky notes).

These are the right steps to add more highlights to that group. However, if you don't refresh the page between step2 and step 3, that's fine; otherwise, there is a bug and we will fix it in the next toolbar release.

    Thanks Joel, excellent!

I look forward to the improvements.

If you can fix Diigolet before toolbars it will be greatly appreciated.

The 1-2-3 is by far my most common workflow but indeed, there are _significant_ disruptions between each step. In detail:

    1. use Diigolet to add highlights in Safari (where overall functionality is greatest)

    a. command-L

    b. command-C to copy the URL

    c. bring Firefox to foreground (to plug gaps in Diigolet)

    d. command-L

    e. command-V to paste the URL

    f. click 'Bookmark'

    g. click 'Share to a Group'

    h. from the menu, select the group

    i. add, subtract, add items from the group tag dictionary

    j. finish drafting the bookmark

    2. click 'Save' (share with the group)

    - have a cup of tea, do some thinking, maybe not return to the page for many hours, maybe days

    k. command-L

    l. command-C to copy the URL

    m. bring Safari to foreground

    n. command-L

    o. command-V to paste the URL

    p. command-1 to present Diigolet (the #1 item in my Safari bookmarks bar)

    q. select text, right-click, highlight

    3. wish to share the additional highlights (only) with groups, or with the public.

We fixed the bug on the server side. Please check it.

    Thanks.

    Joel and co, many thanks!

From the perspective of the sticker (me), testing at the moment in Firefox 3.0.4, behaviour appears to be good.

If it's working as expected then Diigo members of this group should see, from me, stuck to this thread:

    * one note that is public
    * one note that is shared with Diigo Community group

    - but _not_ my sticky note that's shared with another public group.

    Postscript: I wonder what http://www.diigo.com/annotated/6734a28da1c6ab05ac8e168b0db1cad8 will present…
