結論として、iPhone SIMは特別な「逆SIMロック」を掛けたりしているのではなく、SoftBankの設備を使いながら「iPhone」という新しいキャリアを立ち上げたような扱いになっているということです。だからiPhone 3Gは「iPhone SIMじゃないと動かない」というiPhone SIM縛りが発動するので、SoftBankやdocomoのSIMでは動作せず、通常のSoftBank端末は「SoftBank SIMじゃないと動かない」というSoftBank SIM縛りが発動するので、iPhone SIMをさしても動作しないのです。で、SIMフリーなW880iはSIMロックを行わないので、iPhone SIMがささってもそのまま何の問題もなく動作すると、これってどこかで聞いた話しだなぁと思ったら、Disney Mobileがそういう扱いになっているんですね（Disney Mobile端末はSoftBank SIMをさしても動作しない）。僕の「iPhoneはDisney Mobile方式をとるのでは？」という予想はこんなところで当たってしまいました(^^;

このような警告は出ますが「OK」を押したら、そのままホーム画面が立ち上がり、電話・SMS以外の全機能が普通に動きました。ちなみにWi-Fiを使えばSafariもYouTubeもちゃんとインターネットにつながるので、仮にiPhone 3Gを解約してしまっても、「ちょっとごついiPod touch」として余生を送らせる事が可能です(^^;)。ということはPHS300+EMOBILEがあると…（笑）ここらへん、解約してSIMを抜いてしまうとカメラもワンセグも全部機能停止してしまう国産携帯のケチくささと違って、Appleの太っ腹ぶりは素晴らしいですね（それが当然なんですけどね。そういえば契約していてもネットサービスオプション毎月300円を払わないとワンセグを使わせないというとんでもキャリアも日本にはありました。）。
