As I sat in the audience at Google's I|O conference yesterday morning, I watched Google VP of Engineering Vic Gundotra and others unveil Android 2.2 "Froyo," an ambitious upgrade to the company's mobile OS. Gundotra began the keynote by framing Android as a moral crusade against "a future where one man, one company, one device, one carrier would be our only choice."

The largest and most ambitious release for Android yet! This release is packed with new features for users and thousand of business firms.Google keeps referring to Android 5.0 Lollipop as the biggest Android update yet, and for good reason.

Rumour has it Apple will open up the iPhone App Store to games costing around $19.99, but only for big name publishers, like GameLoft and EA. Such a price point would end up competing with Nintendo DS and lower-end PSP titles.
