Jumpstart is a great site for teachers of any grade level. You can choose the grade level you are teaching and then find activities, games, worksheets, and more for your students. It has activities for many different subjects reading, English, science, math, and art. This would be a great source for gather ideas for activities, getting supplemental worksheets, or to give the students a safe place to play fun games!

I chose Microsoft Mouse Mischief because it is interactive. It allows the teacher and students to interact with the lesson and eachother and makes learning fun and easy. There is something for teacher and student. It is a program that allows teachers to make PowerPoints interactive by asking question and with wireless mouses students select answers. It also shows the teacher which students or groups of students answered correctly or incorrectly. My standard is 6.1, which states that candidates intergrate instructional technology to facilitate learning in the classroom to supplement instructional strategies, to design instructional materials, and to enhance hands-on expierences and problem solving. I believe that this program is great for this standard. It is hands-on, interactive, uses technology, and ask the students for problem solving and quick thinking. This site is a very good one for Standard 6.1 because it not only provides a variety of games and practice for enhanced learning, but it also includes ideas for how teachers can include the games in their lesson plans to explain new concepts and to review previous material. The site is very easy to navigate -- with good graphics and interactive components and a variety of games and teaching suggestions for all subject areas.

I felt like this website met the standards of 6.1. This is a great resource for teachers and parents who are teaching math or science. There are a variety of lesson plans as well as interactive "gizmos" that will help students learn. Students can do the interactive portion and then be asked to complete the lesson plan. It's such a helpful site that will benefit the students and teachers.

The website is broken down into chapters, each chapter has a learning activity to be accomplished using the internet. This website covers . This website covers Standard 6.9: Candidates model the legal and ethical use of technology resources. As previously stated, this website is based off of an entire book which specifically examines the required content of standard 6.9. This book/website is practically dedicated to the mastery of this standard.

This was a very neat website showing webquests for K-12 grades. Webquests help to supplement instructional strategies in the classroom. This website shows you how to actually create a webquest and it also has ones already designed and you can use those instead of developing your own. These are very fun and very educational!

This is a great website for Chemistry teachers to use for students, particularly younger children. It has puzzles and games and other activities that make learning about Chemistry fun for the whole class. Teachers can use this site to help with planning lessons because the supplemental activities are bound to fit into whatever you happen to be teaching at the time.
