ERIC is a wonderful research tool for educators and students alike. It is the World's largest digital library of educational literature. It meets the standard 6.5 by being a free accessible technology that allows users to compile a multitude of valuable research information specific to their needs.

This electronic source for American literature, funded by the Library of Congress, allows students to explore multiple facets of American literature. One link leads to an exploration of Edgar Allan Poe's Baltimore, while another looks to examine how the history of Salem influenced Nathaniel Hawthorne's writings. By presenting students with this tool, they will be better equipped to understand the writers' backgrounds and read deeper into their works.

This is a database of useful websites for teachers of all areas. Active links take you directly to a website of the topic of your choice. This website stood out for me mainly because of the large volume of websites categorized for easy navigation.

Use Juno to create your own online tests and worksheets.Your students work on laptops, tablets, iPods, etc. Then their grades are submitted directly to any compatible grade book! Or print your materials when computers are not available. Create a curriculum library for your whole school to share. Juno is a free platform to developand deploy online textbooks,tutorials, and exercises.

You can use this site to analyze the data that you may collect for a project that you do with the many different graphs that it offers from kindergarten to twelfth grade. there are other things on this site that could help with math skills of all kinds.

This websites has several different guided math practices using manipulatives. It could be beneficial to all students, but especially those with special needs.

These reports will give you the information that you will need to help your students to be the best that they can be. It will show you their strengths and also show you their trouble spots. All of this information will allow you to show the student what he or she need to work on over the school year.

Scitable is an awesome interactive resource for anyone who loves science. It is an online science library that has hundreds of articles, databases, and other resources. Whether you are doing research for a paper, or joining in on a discussion with experts or peers, Sitable is a easy to use web 2.0 site. It goes along with standard 6.5 in that it allows you to gather, sort, and analyze information while also giving you the ability to share what you have learned with others.

This link is for an excellent, free database for teachers to search or find literature appropriate to their students at different levels of the DRA (Developmental Reading Assessment). You can search for a specific book, or use the database to configure an appropriate list for your grade and DRA level. The website as a whole offers many other great features for educators as well, such as lesson plans and science projects. The database in itself however is a fun place to start when working with your own personal classroom library to the extent that you can be linked to Amazon to purchase a copy if you so wish.
