This app from the chrome store can be used on chrome browser, chromebook, iPad, or iphone. Sync. If you already use drop box this is a must. OPen the app and you can start a new document or open one from your drop box or google drive and start working. Makes data flow in the ipad world a snap.

Best Web Hosting for Churches (And Which to Avoid) - ChurchMag - 2 views

I can agree with one of the don't use, we had our church with one of those before we moved to FinalWeb. We have been with FinalWeb for a few years and they have been slow to release responsive designs out. Their streaming service is affordable and solid. They do now have app options which I have seen but not explored.

Bookmark or download owner's manuals. Lots of alternatives of course, such as any bookmarking tool, but if you want a dedicated web app for owner's manuals, this one would work.

How to Make Your iPhone or iPad Read Kindle Books to You - The Pastor's Week - 1 views

Great tip. Macs have this feature too in some Apple apps (Mail, Pages 5, etc.) under Edit > Start Speaking. There also a chrome extension called "read & write" for this on the web. Article makes a good point that this is better for "lighter" fare. :) Also, hadn't heard of this blog until now, and will now be following it.

Why Your Church Needs Mobile Apps - Now! | ChurchMag - 1 views

  • This is why we need to rethink website ministries.  The old model was “it doesn’t matter how good your technical staff is – just get a website up.  Something is better than nothing.”  Unfortunately, that doesn’t hold much water with digital natives.  Churches that are growing know that you need a culture of excellence.  We are doing God’s work and our efforts should show that.  Nothing could be further from the truth than with website ministries.
