List of 10 things you should have in place when implementing 1:1. I will reference this list in my Master's Thesis project, which is a guide for Lutheran schools considering Chromebooks. (Look for that to be "published" next fall.)

iPad and Android "flashless" apps have been released. iPad and Android users with network connectivity can now search, lookup and read many different Bible translations (NIV, God's Word, ASV, etc., on the go. You can also add and reference study notes too.

This new camera was released this summer. An all in one camera that does streaming (from what I can tell it would likely work with FinalWeb Streaming) and can be controlled all with the web interface. It also has the more tranditional pan-tilt-zoom (PTZ) interface as well, if you already ahve that. Wire audio from a microphone or your sound system to it, connect it to your broadband and you would be up and going. Or, use the SDI video connection to go something something like Wirecast on your computer for more control. Refer to my presentation from WelsTechConf on video streaming, this new camera is one I am now reviewing to replace our first camera we installed this last year. We may shift then the camera that is our "primary front and center" off to the side more for the "B" roll view.

This is referring to Apps for business, Ryan. I certainly hope the Google Apps for Education will continue to be free now that many educators and schools are depending on them. If not, there will be some dramatic changes that need to be made.

There was a free version that would allow you to have up to 10 users. This version has been eliminated for new users. I am making use of this version since my school is not accredited, which is a requirement to use Apps for Education.

Bookmark or download owner's manuals. Lots of alternatives of course, such as any bookmarking tool, but if you want a dedicated web app for owner's manuals, this one would work.

Add desired wikipedia articles to a "book".  You can change the order of the articles in your book and structure them using chapters. Further, you can download the books as a PDF or ODF, or order a printed book. Help - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Help:Books

Just wanted to pull this one up again - good for schools that may be starting research papers with students for the first time.

While the website referred to in this article (churchrater.com) encourages the consumer approach to churches and leaves room for the devil to persecute the proclamation of the truth, I think it's important for congregations to be aware that it's out there.

Pointed to this by a student. He and a partner found a tutorial for extracting DNA from a strawberry! Super cool!

A static version of Wikipedia from 2009. All sources in this version have been vetted and verified, and it is also available for offline (network) use. Could be a good alternative for those skeptical about Wikipedia's accuracy.
