Our "Is the New Normal Anything But?" panel at the recent 2010 NUTN Summit rocked! Thanks to Susan Kannel, Lisa Cheney-Steen, and Cynthia Calongne, my fellow panelists*. The "six scenarios" seemed to provide an excellent framework for our conversation; the interaction with our audience and each other was excellent, and the discussion could have gone on for hours.

Google's Knol Project introduces the term of art 'knol' as a unit of knowledge. As we learn, we acquire 'knols' much like pieces of a gigantic jigsaw puzzle and arduously weave them into a "fabric of knowledge" in which all the pieces fit neatly together and a "big picture" emerges.

An alternative virtual world simulator, the New World Grid and OpenSim (OS) are new and provide help assistance to all newcomers.
