    Interesante, porque estoy de cuerdo conque últimamente la difusión masiva de juegos por streams que le dan a ciertos jugadores el estado de celebridad (ej. korean starcraft playrs o stremers con mas de 10k viewrs), y el creciente patrocinio por parte de empresas bastante grandes, (ej. intel, amd, sktelecom) hacen que estas competencias se estén volviendo cada vez mas grandes y populares, pero por hora tal vez no tanto como para compararla con un deporte tradicional.

    Creo que un mejor ejemplo que Tom Raider, y aun mejor que El señor de los anillos, e incluso mejor que el de los cómics que comentaba primero, es el de Pokémon. Podría asegurar que no existe fenómeno igual de transmediación en la historia de los videojuegos. Este fragmento es apenas de una descripción del libro homónimo de este bookmark, y en el se puede definir lo que buscaba principalmente sobre esta serie de juegos, mercancía, episodios, etc. Todo empieza con el videojuego creado por Nintendo en conjunto con Game Freak, y se termina convirtiendo en el auge de los videojuegos de consolas portátiles, e incluso llega a penetrar mucho más adentro, incluso llegando a conseguir Guiness Records. Me atrevería a decir que sin discucion alguna este es el mejor ejemplo existente de 'Transmedia' pues simplemente no existe un medio por el cual no haya llegado a pasar esta franquicia.
