    De hecho, increiblemente, Colombia no es de los países con mayor porcentaje de piratería de software, está en un rango medio a nivel mundial. Los países en donde la pirateria es muy baja son los países en los que gracias a su PIB, respeto porla ley, precios sin impuestos de importaciones, respeto por la propiedad intelectual, y buen sistema penal, han creado una cultura en la que pagar 30 dolares por un juego es completamente normal. Los países que son lejanos a las fábricas de videojuegos y deben pagar altos impuestos para acceder a los juegos tienen un indice de pirateria mucho mayor. A su vez, lo son los que tienen serios problemas internos.
