Digital Pedagogy Lab is host of a five-day practical institute that explores the role and application of digital technology in teaching. The institute has three tracks, providing hands-on practice with and discussion of networked learning, digital identity, new media, and critical digital pedagogy.

This Institute is almost full (and a tad pricy) in August in lovely Madison, WI. Interesting stuff.

The entire article provides an interesting way to look at course design as well as ALT Lab website construction. "Grab the audience's attention visually. An enjoyable story offers a hook, a call to action, immediately, as soon as you open it."

Maybe this is a framework/concept for doing some of the ALT Lab documentation. It mixes tutorial/tool guide/example in a way that works pretty well.

I like this concept we can show examples of various interesting things faculty are doing and explain the creation process. That way faculty work is always at the forefront of what we do
