Wordcentral.com is a site by Merriam-Webster that allows a student to create their own dictionary.  They add new words that they learn daily.  There are also games, thesaurus, and rhyming word searches.

PowerMyLearning Educational Games & Learning Activities for Kids. (n.d.). Retrieved July 14, 2014, from http://powermylearning.org/ Powermylearning.com is a site that contains a lot of multisubject activities. It is a site you have to sign up for but it is free. Students can pick activities, join classes, and track their assignments. It helps the student feel like, and become more, proactive in their learning.

It is transmedia. Inanimate Alice connects technologies, cultures, languages, and curricula, in way that keeps students engaged and learning.

It contains lessons, puzzles, flash cards, and more. It contains highly rated resources by teachers, for teachers.

Spelling & Vocabulary Website: SpellingCity. (n.d.). Retrieved July 13, 2014, from http://www.spellingcity.com Spellingcity.com is a vast resource of free activities to build vocabulary. The site offers, games, spelling tests, and writing practice. Such as word recognition with patterns, decoding and encoding, and multisyllabic words. The site is for teachers and parents and is student centered in it's approach.

The site contains student interactives, games, tools, mobile apps, and more. Readwritethink.org is supported by the International Reading Association and The National Council of Teachers of English.

NSDL.org is an online science library with links to high quality science, technology, engineering, and math resources for K-12 teachers, faculty, librarians, students and informal learners. Funded by the National Science Foundation.

Center for Digital Storytelling. This has a variety of options for the educator from customized to featured plans. The story plan is to promote community action.

Research and Design by LT Media.Lab Retrieved from http://lt.umn.edu/earthducation/ To date, the Earthducation team has completed 6 expeditions, beginning with a pilot expedition to the Arctic in 2010, and then journeying to Africa, Europe, Australia, South America, and Arctic North America for expeditions 1 through 5. This gives the student and the teacher virtual on site experience with the culture and environment of the different places. Student are able to make connections with what is happening in the real world. There is directed collaboration on education and sustainability in an international setting. There are some related lessons available and links to other sites like National Geographic for related leaning activities. This appears to require some added teaching strategies but is very authentic.

Retrieved from http://lt.umn.edu/geothentic/geothentic.html This appears to be highly motivating and engages students in authentic leaning by using technological data to make and justify decisions on current issues such as where to build a hospital in San Francisco based on factors such as seismic activity and population density. Helpful for teachers with limited background knowledge in teaching geography. It has very good helps to assist teachers in the TPACK domains and even management strategies.

It provides the mathematical theory and research behind the project. What is CMP? The Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) was funded by the National Science Foundation to develop a complete middle school mathematics curriculum, Connected Mathematics, for students and teachers. CMP is a problem-centered curriculum that promotes an inquiry-based teaching- learning classroom environment.
