The site offers, games, spelling tests, and writing practice. Such as word recognition with patterns, decoding and encoding, and multisyllabic words. The site is for teachers and parents and is student centered in it's approach.

    Merriam-Webster's Word Central. (n.d.). Wordcentral.com is a site by Merriam-Webster that allows a student to create their own dictionary.  They add new words that they learn daily.  There are also games, thesaurus, and rhyming word searches.
