This is a very simple site that has some great ideas and games that you can use in your classrooms to educate students about multiculturalism.

This site was very cool. There are more specific links geared towards Science. The site had links to Yoursky, MyStarsLive, Starlab and NASA. Again, this would not be one that every teacher could use, but the applications could be used in areas like Math and even part of a thematic unit in Reading/Writing. The one thing I didn't like about the site was the advertisements that looked like links to other tools.

Teaching Materials - 0 views

This site was pretty cool, especially for Nebraska educators. This was the Official Nebraska Government Website for Teaching Materials. This site was mainly aimed towards History teachers, but it could probably be used by a variety of teachers. As a substitute at Boys Town, I would use it to educate students from other areas of the country about Nebraska. The downfall on this site is that it's very Nebraska centered. This might limit its usefulness to teachers from other states.

Internet4Classrooms - Helping Students, Teachers and Parents Use - 1 views

This site was loaded with stuff for all levels Pre K - 12. The site featured tabs at the top of the page as well as the side for easy clicking. With tools focusing on Assessments, Tech Tutorials, K-12 Links and Daily Dose of the Web, there were a ton of references and tools for all teachers. You can also sign up for their newsletter on this site. The most appealing thing to me was the simple nature of the site, very easy to navigate. There were some ads, however, they were very toned down and easy to avoid if you wanted. Provided by Google, they were not obnoxious.

This is a Google index for educators. It has links to tools, links to many other sites and is a very good site for tutorials on other Google items that educators can use in their classrooms. Great stuff on Google Earth.

This is a fantastic site that not only lets kids know that they should be safe, but teaches them as well. There are resources for kids such as videos and links. There are also some great stories on the site too.

Free tools for teachers - 1 views

  •
This site is amazing. It has so many tools it's crazy. The best part is that almost all of them are free. Some of the website builders come with a fee. However, for the most part all the tools are at your use for free. Some links require a login/password, but it still cost nothing. One stop shop for all your teaching needs!

Great site. Loaded with videos, information for kids, as well as parents and educators. The kids section has games, downloads and other resources. I also liked the faith resources section. This could be used in schools with a religious background.

I really liked the S M A R T breakdown. This essentially related to Safety, Manners, Authentic learning, Research and Information, and Twenty-First century challenges. Good links throughout page.

Multicultural Videos, Resources and more - 0 views

This site contains videos, resources for learning and various studies. The one downfall to this site, I found, is that the latest date posted at the bottom is 2002. Pretty good stuff though.

As a soccer coach it's good to have additional tools to help with different footwork and conditioning drills. This site has many videos that show moves, drills and technique.

All About Nutrition - 0 views

Great site for PE/health teachers. There were some games, lots of health information and it was all free. I played a nutrition game, and when it was done I could challenge a friend through email. This could be used with distance learning.

Fantastic site. Very interactive, fun and most importantly - educational. I could see using this site with elementary - middle level students. However, there are some applications that could be used as high as high school too.

This site is great for finding articles on all kinds of topics. Very little to no advertising. Might have too many articles to sort through, so you have to pre-search for students.
