Free (for basic) and easy to use creator of wiki pages. Teachers can sign up for no usage limits and no advertising for free providing it will be used for educational purposes (normally %50 a year). Teacher can create their own wiki page for a class or students can create their own wiki pages for an assignment/class, etc.

Teachers' Domain has a ton of resources for students, and can be accessed by students, if they sign up for an account. The teacher can organize students into individual classes and create folders for students to access what it is you want them to utilize. There are great simulations, activities, and videos for students to explore.

This site was loaded with stuff for all levels Pre K - 12. The site featured tabs at the top of the page as well as the side for easy clicking. With tools focusing on Assessments, Tech Tutorials, K-12 Links and Daily Dose of the Web, there were a ton of references and tools for all teachers. You can also sign up for their newsletter on this site. The most appealing thing to me was the simple nature of the site, very easy to navigate. There were some ads, however, they were very toned down and easy to avoid if you wanted. Provided by Google, they were not obnoxious.

This site is a great resource for students and teachers for educational sites for all grade levels and subject areas.

This site is specifically for teachers with lesson plans and all sorts of resources. There are of coarse any links for information on books as you would expect from Scholastic. Also information for students and parents who are interested in learning more about books.

Full Option Science System. Website for science teachers with online resources and online activities for students. Free with a teacher user/pass. Good smartboard and interactive activities students can participate in. Contains links or other info related to the topics for inquiry.

Great site for internet safety for all ages. This site offers a special kids link for an animated web tour on internet safety and other ways they can remain safe. On the main internet safety link it offers a variety of links and documents.

This is an AWESOME website for parents, teachers and students to use in order to remain safe online. I really like how many tips are provided for parents. The website breaks down tips for how much independence and use online children should be provided. While exploring the site, I thought that it was very helpful and user friendly. Overall, if I were a parent this website would be very helpful.

An interesting website dedicated to reviewing applications for the iPad specifically for classroom use. It is fairly new so you have to search archives for apps you might like. Breaks the surface on how to use the technology in your world.

This is a site that I have used for years. There are many lesson plans, resources, and ideas for middle school science teachers. It even has a free alphabetical science term border for your classroom.

This is a very safe website for students to look up information. It is very basic and very limited but the facts are accurate. It's a great place for Elementary to go to if they are doing a fact chart or basic report on an animal, country, or dinosaur. Its a neat website but little annoying because when ever you go back to home page you get the welcome announcement and I couldn't find anywhere to turn it off, accept for mute on my volume

3. Classicsforkids.com is from the Cincinnati public radio. Students can listen to radio broadcasts, which they have activity sheets to coincide, for better listening focus. There is a drop down "For Grownups" which has lesson plans and tips and advice. Each month they have a featured composer. There are also games, such as composing. No advertements to speak of. Good site for internet safety. Lots of down loadable presentations to use in the classroom. Also, extra material to put up in the classroom to remind students.

This site offers good resources for teachers, students, and parents about internet safety. I like the situation cards it gives as a resource for middle and high schools.

An education oasis for lessons that can be applied in the classroom for all students

This site is great for finding articles on all kinds of topics. Very little to no advertising. Might have too many articles to sort through, so you have to pre-search for students.

Very cool resources at the bottom of the page. There is a link for Discovery Sheets - great for use on visits!

This site is for younger students and has hundreds of audio books that are free to listen to. What a great site for reading centers. This could be something used everyday in the classroom.

This site is amazing. It has so many tools it's crazy. The best part is that almost all of them are free. Some of the website builders come with a fee. However, for the most part all the tools are at your use for free. Some links require a login/password, but it still cost nothing. One stop shop for all your teaching needs!

This site provides teachers with free online tools such as quiz and worksheet generators. It also offers tips on building classroom websites and provides a place for students to turn in assignments online.
