    When students need information about a topic or want to share a story, this website can help take 8 pages of text and reduce it down to only use 1 piece of paper. This is a great tool for teachers when presenting information and would be great for notes.

    this site is great because you can type in the information for a graph. This is great because graphing is part of school curriculum and this site is easy to use.

    4. The San Francisco Symphony has a website for kids. Sfskids.org/templates/musicLabF.asp?pageid=1. Categories to use are instruments of the orchestra, music lab and what's up at the symphony.     Great site for activities, experiments, and demonstrations students and teachers can do. Many of the experiments are relatively easy and not resource intensive. If materials are difficult to come by, people can buy them from the site.

    BitStrips is a website so that students can create comic strips. The user has the option of creating the characters, backgrounds, and text. Make sure to use the public version. If you try to use the educational version, it isn't free. All students need is an email address to begin. It's great because they can email you the comic strip.

    This site is a great resource designed to assist teachers in teaching language arts. It provides a variety of resources from teaching comprehension, poetry to providing author studies. One of my favorite components of the site is the extensive selection of printable Readers Theatre. The author of the site even has a blog!

    This site is a great resource for practicing spelling, and assisting in building strategy and problem solving skills. It allows you to generate your own list of words. After generating your list of words you can choose, test me, teach me, or play games. The teach me link has an auditory component that says and spells the word, the game link gives a variety of strategy games to assist in learning the words.
