Educational games available by grade level. I noticed games for money math, time telling, parts of speech etc

Granted you need to have a login to use this site but once you're in this does suggest great educational games for students.

This tool gives 26 lessons for 2nd grade alone not to mention other general topics like social emotional learning, then if you want you can also subscribe to the group as well

once you get past the first few that have a cost associated you can see several worksheets available for 2nd grade health. Some of these I have seen in the past floating around the schools. They range in topic from nutrition to personal hygiene etc

This site has a wide range of suggestions for someone who isnt so science minded. it also has the other subjects as well

Natl Science Teaching Association site is $40.00 per year for new teachers that gives lesson plans and different suggestions based off of grade level, but be careful not to click thru too fast or you'll run out of :free information for the month if you're not a member yet

As a student I had a mixed review of social studies - this site in just a few sentences helped me understand why. Social studies is like the "junk drawer" of disciplines and ranges from govt to humanities to so many more. some things I liked others not so much, but this site lets you see how its all relevant to Social Studies

I found this site helpful, its a 53 [age document that helps develop ideas for social studies, it clearly described the core standards and showed how they are broken down by color code for different disciplines.

Math: This site is built of lesson plans for all subjects but when I looked specificially for math lesson plans for 2nd grade, I found there were only 9 listed, and although that sounds low in # I thought it allowed me to think of other ideas around the same thought process that could be developed into more lessons

This site had a bigger immediate selection of worksheets available with a large range of activities available. I could see myself taking advantage of this site in the future. It also has Math, science, and social studies activities. Definitely a site that I will return to.

With the exception of the ads, this site has a large selection of spelling words as well as comprehension exercises and printable worksheets. I did not see a cost associated with it either so that was nice
