again, this website lists and shows images of different things teachers have done in their classroom. It would benefit any teacher to scroll through the images of the different things that can be done in a classroom and use those ideas. having an inviting classroom is important and they have very cute ideas for bulletin boards to the layout. Classroom Architect - 0 views

  •
Before a teacher goes into the first day of school, it's beneficial to have a layout plan. I chose this site because it implements a classroom floor plan. This allows you to be the architect of your classroom, i.e., objects can be dragged across the grid.

Skype in the Classroom - Skype in the Classroom - 0 views

Sometimes the classroom needs an extra attention-getter. With Skype, there's a way for teachers to open conversations with several people--including experts, so I of course support this idea. Teachers can use this to interact with other classrooms around the state, around the country, or even around the world.
  •
    Why? How?
  •
We used this in the classroom, but I think that it allows you to use Skype to locate different guest speakers around the world. I would use this if someone from the area couldn't make it in to talk to my class or if I wanted to get someone from miles away to speak in my class.

  •
Education Game I selected this website because it has a lot of games suited for elementary students. Also, it includes comics for students to read, instead of playing games. This website focuses more on reading and math, as it has games only for these two subjects and arcade games. I will use this in the class with the younger grade levels.

"Complement classroom instruction and engage students in online activities, assignments and discussions that allow for deeper participation inside and outside the classroom". This website is a great platform for having another form of communication with students and families. I could see myself using this website as a tool to stay connected with parents where important links, documents and other information could be posted. Depending on the grade level, I could also use this to have students post their work to.
