    This is a ning site dedicated to the support of a Personal Learning Network for Educators. This website, after creating an account, allows you to network with other educators and has a wide collection of inspiring articles and helpful links. This would be a great website to swap ideas with other educators or read threads to keep up with helpful and relevant conversations.

    This website provides a number of different collections for students and teachers. The website provides activities/games for students to participate in and get a feel of what it would be like in person. The website also gives students and teachers virtual artifacts for projects. I would use this in my classroom for students who struggle to find good artifacts for their projects. It is important to have reliable resources.

    I like this site because it tells why it is important to use the technology in the classroom. This page also shows what other people think about a site wither its good or bad. I can use the information on this site to find ideas for my classroom. I can also use this site to talk to other teachers about what works in a classroom and what doesnt.

    This is a great site for those interested in web 2.0. This gives you groups, events, and forums to help. Its a free site and is a good way to stay up to date on alot of new things in education. I like the forum because it gives alot of personal experiences to help new teachers.

    I see things on this site all the time that I want to make or create to put in my classroom. It has endless supplies of idea and things you can do yourself. Things from organizational tools to just fun decorations for the classroom... I know personally, I always like the classes that had fun stuff on the walls. Made it more fun to be there and more fun to learn. :)

    PLN (2): This website is a resource for teachers to use based upon their interests and passions. It is a way for educators to connect with one another, gain new and insightful tools to use in the classroom, and support other teachers. There is a forum where you can post questions, leave comments for other professionals, etc. This is a good place to make a personal connection with others in the same field as yourself. As a first year teacher, this would be a good place to gain added support needed to be successful.

Since I am interested in teaching 4th grade, I think this website gives so many classroom activity ideas and because it's a blog, it has honest experience and personal accounts with lots of pictures. I am going to use this website for classroom ideas, from activities to classroom management.

    I chose this website because I have realized how important drinking water and physical activity is for every person daily. I would implement the information shared on this website by letting students know how important it is to have a water bottle with them everyday at school is and how important it is to do physical activity for at least 30 minutes each day, by sharing helpful and fun ideas to do.

    I personally have never liked math and with this website i found it has art activites for a math lesson. It incorporates both the left and right brain thinking. Math is sometimes a struggle to teach and to get the students to like so the activities that is talks about such as "designing a quilt pattern" or math and recipes adds a fun edgy side to math that would get the students to have fun with math and they dont even realize it.

    This is a great source for finding field day activities and lesson plan ideas for physical education. Current p.e. teachers share specific lessons and ideas that worked and offer suggestions to new teachers.

    This website is very beneficial to not just PE majors, but other teachers as well. This website has a ton of activities that you can do with you students. I picked this website because it has the standards as well as the activities to meet them. I will use this in my classroom if my students need to wake up and gain some energy to keep working!

    This is a free site that allows private meetings. Kind of like a coatroom without the distraction of online media. It is a great suggestions for students to collaborate on group projects if they cannot meet in person.

    I picked this site because I remember using it in elementary school and middle school, and remember how much it helped me with math. This site has many different math games for students to use. This site also has a teacher page as well as a parent's page. I can use this in my future class because it is a different way to learn math. Students can play games that can help them add or subtract, if they are having problems with it. I would also use this site since it has different ways to motivate students when it comes to math.

    I have mentioned this site before and I will mention it again. I think Cool Math is an awesome resource. It has typical math games you'd expect, such as simple addition and subtraction activities. However, it also has games that incorporate other skills as well. Some of these games really, really play on your critical thinking skills. Students can learn business strategies, complex math strategies, understand dimensions and time, and even math terms. Even as a person that totally hates math, I appreciate this website very much. I remember loving it when I was in K-12.

    I stumbled upon this site and think it's very helpful for teachers. It explains the difference between the PLN of a traditionally networked teacher versus the PLN of a Web 2.0 connected teacher. This goes to show that a Web 2.0 networked teacher has access to many more resources than a traditionally networked teacher. This website has a ton of suggestions on using instructional technology. It also gives suggestions and tools to create and then maintain a PLN as a teacher.
