I chose scholastic as one of my literacy sources because it is both beneficial for the student and teachers. I would love to share this with parents/guardians to give them the option to order books for themselves, so I can earn things for the classroom.

Education Games

I chose this website because it offered educational games for all level of students. It had ideas for team work games, as well as individual. I would use this site in the classroom to develop additional learning tools, such as some of these games to cover relevant topics to the subject I was teaching.

This website has a compilation of little activities that you can do in your classroom to get your students up and moving. The website called it "brain breaks" and I would use it as that, to get my students heart rate up and blood flowing- especially after long periods of sitting and testing.

Great interactive videos to get students up and moving for that brain break they need throughout the school day. Also a great source of calming to get them to refocus their minds.

I like this website becsuse it has games that will have the kids up and moving. In class I would use this by having some mindful meditation.

This website gives a list of P.E. activities that are grouped by grade level. This will be helpful in my classroom to know what activities are appropriate for that age group.

This website has a ton of lesson plans for physical education. A majority of them are K-5, but there are a few for 6-12. I will be going back to this site in the future to find lessons for my students

I chose this website because it had a wide variety of lesson plan ideas for language arts for all grade levels. I would use this in the classroom by having a more well rounded look at ideas for all grade levels. It had some great internet resources for students to use the web to learn as well.

This website has multiple lessons for language arts/English classes for grades K-12. The lesson lengths range form quick hitters to few days long. I could modify a spelling game for my PE class in the future.

I chose this website for ideas and activities around language arts. This has some good ideas for activities that are interactive. I would use these tools in the classroom to have more up to date technology, for example it talks about the user of podcasts. This is a great idea to get interactive technology around language arts activities.

This a great website to pull ideas from or to even use in the classroom. It would even be nice to have it projected up on the wall to work through a few of the activities with students.

I liked this site because it has a lot of useful information that students can easily follow. This site also has information that by grade levels, which will put it in language that those students can understand. I can use this site because it has a lot of useful information about the United States Government. This site will also be useful because it has many interactive games for students to do after learning about each section.

I chose Cool Math Games because I thought it is a good opportunity to use math in fun games they wouldn't mind playing. In a future classroom, I think this is a great thing to use as a brain break during the day.

Find free physical education (PE) teaching ideas, activities and resources for your primary and secondary classroom. This is great as a Physical Education teacher you always want to add variety to your class, it is so important to keep kids engaged and excited about getting active and this site break it down to all grade levels and types of activities like team work. You could offer this web site to parents who are wanting to be active together with their child.

This site has many different lesson plans on it. I like this site because it actually has people rate the lesson plans on it, and people can explore other teacher's resources. This site will be very helpful to me because it has many different lesson plans to look for. This site also has tips to help teachers while writing a lesson plan.

This website has so many lesson plans available in all the school subjects. This will really be useful when I am a teacher to get ideas from other teachers to see what kind of activities they are doing in their classrooms.

This website is full of different tips and games for students to play who are interested in their health and their physical condition. There are quizzes to take to test their knowledge about health and other things. There are also tips on how to stay healthy and how to stay in shape. This is a great website for students who are interested in health and physical education.

This site is all about being active and eating healthy. Students can learn more about eating healthy or more about how the body works. This is a great way to incorporate technology into P.E. class. Students may like to explore this website at home or during a study hall if you give them homework. Amber Koth

A website for kids and their parents to learn more about health, fitness and nutrition through fun games, recipes and articles. This website could be more for the home, but I would modify it for the classroom. One example was a game called Scavenger Hunt, and the students would have to find objects placed around the room in so much time. You might have some safety issues with this game, but I could make it work.

Personal learning network for educators to use and collaborate with other teachers, which is a bit more personal and immediate than other sites.

I can use this to talk to other teachers or other people to get classroom ideas or just to ask question anytime I need to talk to another teacher.

This website, after creating an account, allows you to network with other educators and has a wide collection of inspiring articles and helpful links. This would be a great website to swap ideas with other educators or read threads to keep up with helpful and relevant conversations.

This is another effective website for lesson plans. Like the other one, you can search for lesson plans. I can also upload lesson plans that I belive will be helpful to other teachers.

I could use this site because it has so many lesson plans that I could use. This site makes it very easy to find lesson plans since it allows you to search for subject, grade level, and month.

This site offers many resources in creating lesson plans. I also helps with lesson plan ideas. I think this is a great tool to help new teachers as they are entering the classroom.

I like the Khan Academy because it says it is for kindergarten to Calculus. I used it to help study for the math portion of my CAAP. I like that it is so versatile and can grow with the student.

This website has many lesson plans from teachers that they have tried and had success with in their classrooms. This would be nice to know that there was positive feedback from the lesson that I can use and just make adjustments to meet the needs of my students.

I think this is a good website to use when I am struggling to make lesson plans. I plan to use this during my planning hours or maybe share and help other teachers who are on the same boat.
