    I chose this website because it gives great ideas on how to teach w/maps. This is key for social studies, you often have to refer to maps, and I would use this tool in the classroom to be sure I am being effective when teaching with maps.

    I chose this site to look into further development for secondary students who still struggle with literacy. It has resources from computer instruction to hot topic programs to get students extra help.

    I would use this website to explore science in my classroom because I know that the videos it provides will be appropriate and useful. I would love to use this site to find videos instead of having to use youtube or another search engine.

    I chose scholastic as one of my literacy sources because it is both beneficial for the student and teachers. I would love to share this with parents/guardians to give them the option to order books for themselves, so I can earn things for the classroom.

    On this site, images, documents, powerpoint, and more can be added so that students can have discussions about the sources. Anyone who wants to access the discussion has to be invited so it is very secure.

    I chose this website for ideas and activities around language arts. This has some good ideas for activities that are interactive. I would use these tools in the classroom to have more up to date technology, for example it talks about the user of podcasts. This is a great idea to get interactive technology around language arts activities.

    I like this website because it lets the student play challenging games that helps them learn about civic duties. They learn about immigration, courts, and branches of power just to name a few.

    Natl Science Teaching Association site is $40.00 per year for new teachers that gives lesson plans and different suggestions based off of grade level, but be careful not to click thru too fast or you'll run out of :free information for the month if you're not a member yet
